Bazis Distributed Aids to 73 Religious Instituions

West Jakarta Muslim Charitable Donations Board (Bazis) distributed aids to 73 religious institutions in West Jakarta. They are 32 mosques, 27 small mosques and 14 Muslim study groups (majelis taklim).

We merely distributed aid for institutions which been proposed by urban village and sub-district

The aid was handed over by West Jakarta Administrative Secretary, Asril Marzuki to the institutions caretakers, Wednesday (10/7). The aid given is the ZIS fund that been collected last year.

Head of West Jakarta Bazis, Jamhuri conveyed the fund collected was Rp 17.5 billion last year. From that amount, Rp 516 million spent for fisabilillah or religious institution.

β€œWe merely distributed aid for institutions which been proposed by urban village and sub-district,” he uttered.

Jamhuri added that his side has implemented ZIS utilization to mustahiq (tax receivers) in a form of skills training. The activities are corpse taking care for 40 people, driving practice and Driver License (SIM) processing for 75 people, SIM C for 75 motorcycle-taxi driver (ojek) and urban village freelancer and sewing courses for 40 people.

β€œIn the near future, Gema Muharram activity will be held, that is by distributing aid to 3,500 mustahiq,” he finished.
